What is The BIG Picture?

The BIG Picture is a free lively, 45-minute presentation about the strong impact that Big Brothers Big Sisters is making in the lives of children and youth all across Central Texas every day. It includes an inspirational speech from our Director of Marketing Melanie Chasteen, and a live testimonial from those we serve, Bigs, Littles and parents.

It is also an opportunity to introduce people to the great work that we do throughout the community. It is not a fundraiser; we will not be asking for money. We will however call and follow up with guests after the presentation (with their permission) to find out what they thought, ask if they would like to get involved, and ask if they know anyone else we should contact.

The BIG Picture presentation can be held in homes or offices. We ask hosts to invite 15-20 people from their network of friends, family, co-workers, and more. Generally these people are individuals you think would like to learn more about what we do, would like to get involved, know others that they could connect with us in any capacity, or just someone who is interested in serving children in our community.
