Special Events
There are many events that are held throughout the year that benefit Big Brothers Big
Sisters of Central Texas and the youth that we support. Some of these events are put
together by members of the community to help our cause, while others are hosted by BBBS.
Check this often for a list of upcoming special events.
12 Days of Driskill, Dec. 5
In the spirit of the holiday season, the Driskill Hotel is inviting the community to share in a series of events and celebrations during their 12 Days of Driskill festivities. The events begin with their tree lighting ceremony, on Dec. 4 from 6-8 p.m. Each day afterwards, from Dec. 5-16, a Victorian Holiday Tea will be held in their Grand Lobby from 3-5 p.m. and carolers from local schools will perform in front of the tree from 5-7 p.m. On Friday and Saturday evenings beginning at 8 p.m. the 1886 Cafe and Bakery will host a Grand Finale featuring a dessert display. The Victorian Tea will be $48 for adults and $25 for children. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the holiday reservations line at 512-391-7121. The Grand Finale desserts can be purchased for $14 a plate and plates can be loaded with as many desserts as will fit. A portion of the proceeds from festivities on Dec. 5 will benefit BBBS. Holiday Party at the County Line, Dec. 7
The County Line and Cannoli Joe's are proud to announce the annual BBBS Holiday Party! Each year, the County Line invites Bigs, Littles and families to their restaurant for a hamburger lunch to celebrate the holidays. The County Line and Cannoli Joe's raises money to purchase bicycles that will be given away in a door prize drawing at the party. Thanks to corporate sponsors and individual toy drives, BBBS is also able to provide one gift for each child in attendance. Matches and families should RSVP to their Match Support Specialist. For all other inquiries, please contact Meghan Jones, 512-472-5437.
Special Thanks to The County Line and Cannoli Joe's for hosting the event,

And to The Jack in the Box Foundation and BAE Systems for sponsoring the event!
